This is junior high / high school anatomy and physiology curriculum
We will explore human anatomy and physiology in a Creator-honoring way!
The instructor for this course uses the skills, knowledge and experience of a well qualified medical professional, to show how the human body works using 16 video lessons.
This is a DVD based course in Biology where former medical university professor Dr. Menton in his DVD series, Body of Evidence, takes students on a teaching-tour through the major systems of the body.
The home school instructor for this class uses lectures, a microscope, a few carefully chosen slides, explains the subject matter, and quizzes along the way before and after each lesson in order to impress the material that needs to be covered in class.
This is a full semester study of Biology (~32 weeks- 2 hours per week), with 30 hours of video media based study related to the wonderfully made human body, the human cell, its reproductive miracle in DNA, and the body organs in the grand scheme of God's Creation.
The remaining 32 hours are devoted to student research, in-class presentations by each student, biology and human anatomy research on the web and via the selected textbook.
The remaining 32 hours are devoted to student research, in-class presentations by each student, biology and human anatomy research on the web and via the selected textbook.
Nevertheless, the entire course is based on about 16 hours of video classes with Dr. Menton's DVD series as the primary instructor while learning anatomical props, models, and microscopic images to teach about God's amazing designs for life.
In this Biology lessons series, we show how the human body teaches about God's amazing designs for life, and some of the most amazing designs that point unmistakably to our Creator.
No experiments other than microscope and 10 to 20 slides exploration will be incorporated in this course.
